This work assembles dozens of tea-bag sachets into a measured grid, turning a humble, stained remnant of daily ritual into a quiet archive of touch—each packet bearing a small, gestural portrait that feels half-remembered, half-confessed. The warm sepia of the burlap ground and the mottled bruises of brewed pigment soften the drawn marks, while loose threads drift across the surface like tenuous connections, binding the faces into a fragile community. Repetition becomes meditation: the serial structure suggests taxonomy and control, yet the organic discolorations and hand-drawn variations insist on intimacy, erosion, and time’s slow seep through memory.
