Description
A weathered, mask-like visage emerges from layers of scraped pigment and translucent veils, as though identity is being excavated rather than portrayed. The cool blue field on the right reads as a tidal wall of silence, while ochres and bruised browns on the left hold the figure in a sediment of memory, its single spiral “eye” turning inward like a private compass.
