Description
A constellation of white points rises from a velvety black ground to assemble a composite visage—part mask, part bird, part dreaming self—where every contour feels breathed into being by accumulation rather than line. The monumental eye anchors the composition like a vigilant moon, while nested profiles and symbolic marks suggest memory folding into itself, identities layered and re-stitched through ritual geometry. Negative space behaves as silence between stars, allowing the dotted surfaces to shimmer with an almost nocturnal tactility, as if the figure is simultaneously emerging from and dissolving back into the cosmos. In its quiet intensity, the work reads as a meditation on watchfulness and metamorphosis: the self as an inhabited landscape, surveyed by its own inner gaze.
