Description
This sculptural chair transforms functional design into an arboreal apparition, where the backrest and seat unfurl like a canopy of veins and branches, and the legs descend as exposed roots seeking ground. Its dark, filigreed metalwork sets up a stark dialogue with the dry field beneath, as if nature’s circuitry has been lifted from the earth and briefly taught to hold a human body. The open lattice of negative space lets light pass through as a shifting shadow-drawing, suggesting that presence here is defined as much by absence as by structure.
