Description
A slender cairn of polished stones rises like a quiet totem, each stratum a different memory of pressure, time, and erosion held in temporary accord. The composition’s vertical insistence—weighted by earthy ochres and deep charcoals, then relieved by pale, chalky notes—turns color into a kind of breath, alternating density and pause. Suspended against an almost clinical field of white, the stack becomes a meditation on balance as an ethic: the precarious harmony between the geologic and the human impulse to order.
