Mixed Media, Distressed Surface, Found Material, Negative Space, Archival Decay, Minimal Palette, Conceptual Abstraction

This work reads like an excavated skin of architecture—paper scarred by time, browned at the edges, and punctured by a void that turns absence into the primary subject. A cool vertical band cleaves the fragile field like a measuring rule or seam, introducing a clinical order that only heightens the tenderness of the stains, cracks, and bruised violet blooms along the right flank. Faint, ghosted linework suggests suppressed narratives—plans, figures, or memories—hovering just beneath the surface, as if the image were refusing full disclosure. The composition becomes a meditation on preservation and loss, where documentation cannot fully contain what erosion has already rewritten.
