Anwar Husain is an artist based out of Pune. He holds a Diploma in Art Education and G. D. Art, Drawing and Painting from Kalavishawa Mahavidyalaya, Sangli. He did his studies in 1999 Diploma in Drawing and Painting, Kalavishawa Mahavidyalaya, Sangli.
2000 Diploma in Art Education, Kalavishawa Mahavidyalaya, Sangli. He was also awarded in1998 Anwar received State Art Award from Govt. of Maharashtra and V. V. Oak Memorial Art Award from Tilak Smarak Trust.
1998 he received the best portrait award at the annual function of Kalvishawa Mahavidyalaya, Sangli. He has been a part of several group and solo shows which include venues such as the Jahangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. For his work he has been recognized and awarded many a times. He was given the State Art Award by the Government of Maharastra, V.V. Oak Memorial Award by Tilak Smarak Trust and many more
