Having qualified from the Govt. College of Art & Craft, Kolkata, Arya specialized in the art of presenting the human form in all its natural, thoughtful splendour. With the Silver Brush award in 2006 & The Golden Brush Award in 2007 as feathers in his cap, Arya uses his talent to create, through an intricate brushwork, brilliant use of colour & light & shade, studies of men & women from mythology & contemporary life, which are stunning in their effect & composition.
