Bhaskar Mandolu

I am a freelance artist for the past 6 years. My passion is to work with different mediums such as Oil, Acrylic, Watercolours and Charcoal using rich colours achieving simple harmony at times. I work on diverse themes, styles and subjects with ease and am not restricted to a fixed set. My paintings reflect inspiration I got from my mother and they express my perception of life, individuality and interpretation of world around me. My painting arrangements are schematic such that it can switch the mood of the person, may be to their own or mine. As with the art form, each person takes a different perspective and different message from my creation. While I was still studying for my diploma in Pune, I was actively participating in various art competitions and won my first ever award ‘Lalit Kala Akademi’ “Kalaratna Puraskar” in 2001. I continued to receive multiple awards after that. I have completed my diploma at Bharati Vidyapeeth Kala Mahavidyalaya in year 2005-06 with 1st class 1st rank.
