Dilip Mali
Dilip Mali was born in the remote village of Ond in district Satara, Maharashtra. During his school days, he was interested in art practice, Art teacher Baba Pawar was his first mentor. After his primary and secondary school education he went to Belgaon to pursue his art, where he learned more about under Artist K.B. Kulkarni for couple of years. In Pune he did his Govt. diploma in Art at Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalay. 2005 he met Artist Bhaskar Hande. Under his guidance Dilip made progress to know how the paintings read to understand. In 2006, Dilip's first exibition took place in Vaishwik art environment Pune. In V aishwik Art Environment many People from France, Australia and America came to visit the exibition and bought his paintings. This was his first exposure to the outside world. After that he conducted many exibition (Group and solo). Currently he lives in Pune. He works as an art teacher in the highschool and works as professional independent artist.
