Experience:
Working as freelance artist in the field of Illustrations and Paintings. Illustrated many books, book covers and comic books for several publications and print media.
Richly illustrated Sulabh Ramayan and Sulabh Mahabharata authored by noted children’s Writer Late Shri Raja Mangalvedhekar. The illustrations done for this book were independently exhibited in the Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai.
Working as a visiting Faculty for the Symbiosis Institute of Design.
His paintings are in collection of many private and corporate collectors in India and abroad. Gopal mainly paints landscapes, portraiture, figurative works and narrative paintings. He also writes articles related to art and art appreciation for various newspapers. He has also participated in art appreciation programmes on Pune Akashwani radio as well as Radio One.
