I am Purva Tenani, a Mumbai-based artist, originally hails from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh (India). I began my career as a Procurement Professional for an esteemed Corporate House situated in Mumbai and was involved in Strategic Sourcing. I was always passionate for Artistic activities and pursued my vocational interest by conducting Art workshops for Corporate Employees for recreational purposes. I developed a flair for the same and in the process found my true calling and decided to fully dedicate myself to Artistic pursuits. I dabbled in the world of Acrylic paintings enamoured by its expressive possibilities and found my proficiency in specific themes such as Sufi Mysticism, Devotional, Abstract Compositions, Contemporary Expressions, Botanical Motifs and Serene Nature/Landscape by using mixed media by drawing inspiration from my surroundings and personal experiences. My works are a mode of visual storytelling and are a blend of vibrant colours, textures, and layers that reflect my innermost affections and seeks to inspire and resonate with my audience. I remain open to exploring new avenues of Art and believe in creating experimental works by introspecting my subjects in light of new perspectives. I am committed to explore diverse themes through my Artworks and always strives to enhance my vision in order create paintings which are captivating and thought provoking. My works have been exhibited in Open Art Exhibitions and am also associated with a few Galleries. I have received acclaim and accolades while participating in Online Art contests conducted by Digital Galleries. My works have found a welcome audience in Mumbai, where they have been successfully exhibited in a number of group shows and garnered private commissions.
