Ravi Mishra

The name Mishras has been synonymous with Marble Art since Mr. Ram Ratan Mishra with his passion and talent began his work in the sculpting industry and soon inspired by him, his son, Mr. Ravi Mishra followed suit. Alumni of J. J. School of Arts, Mr. Ram Ratan Mishra created numerous remarkable works when he started working in Jaipur, few such were a portrait of Marshall Bulganin (Former Soviet Union Russian Prime Minister), A live portrait of Late Mr. Prithviraj Kapoor which were highly celebrated.

Mr. Ravi Mishra reminisces that since the time he saw his father making sculptures he was marveled by the passion, dedication, and artistry and had already decided to walk on his footsteps. And so, began his journey from childhood when he started honing his skills and transforming his abstract ideas into reality through marble.

While completing his graduation from Rajasthan School of Art and a diploma in Sculpture from Jaipur in the year 1989 he gave shape to his dreams when he joined the family business with his three elder brothers. Together they established Mishra Marble Art in 1982 followed by Mishra Arts Expo Unit in 1992 and Mishra Art Palace in 1995 and 2019 he started his new journey with “Mishra Marble Creation: Molding life through Art.” Having developed a well-equipped manufacturing unit with marble and clay he recently started the metal casting foundry. In the past 40 years, the work which was being done in marble will now be done in metal as well.

Mr. Ravi Mishra’s keen eye to detail is much noted for its accuracy and realistic depiction of portraits, figures, and idols. The immense sophistication in his method the artistry of the sculptures in his work leaves one mesmerized. As he treats each sculpture with special care and himself crafts the minute details you are sure to be encapsulated by the beauty of the emotive expressions of the sculptures and their unparalleled liveliness.
