Born in Ujjain in 1950, Satish Chavhan had a flair for fine art since childhood. At a tender age of 7, he was appreciated for a live portrait he made of the then Governor of MP. Satish, a Masters in Fine Arts has been awarded with numerous awards and felicitations like "Nagarik Samman" by the Governor of MP in 2008. This versatile artist’s work includes a variety of murals and paintings in different mediums. The ease with which he varies his work from traditional to modern is highly commendable.
