My first brush with the world of colors was when as a child I found myself surrounded more by art materials than toys. I started using pencil more for doodling than writing. Remembering old masters came easy than memorizing text book diagrams. The fine art of painting has been in family and thus in genes. From artist father to artist brother to me, the baton was turned into a brush and passed on. Academics Editorial Cartoonist Illustrator Graphic Designer Painter Exhibitions: SOLO EXHIBITIONS: 1998-2001: Got my editorial cartoons and illustrations published in an English daily (Greater Kashmir, Kashmir-India) on everyday basis. April 2013: Had my solo show named Aabrang-Kashmir of 17 watercolor paintings at Gallerie Art Eterne, New Delhi. GROUP EXHIBITIONS: September 2012: Participated in a group show at New Delhi’s Lalit Kala Akademi. December 2013: represented by a gallery named Gallerie Art Eterne, New Delhi at India Art Fair, 2012 at Mumbai.
