Unnati Shukla is a self taught artist, lives in Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh. Currently she is experimenting with paper. Unnati is interested in the process itself, just how the life unravels itself at different stages and surprises us,her works also try to reveal the little joys that come and go in the journey. She likes to enjoy the spontaneity, the very two aspects of being, the negative and Positive , the joy and the sorrows. She rather tries to experience the work than to only limiting herself in understanding the sheer meaning of it. She is fascinated by layers, which creates a significant space between the outermost layer and inner layer/layer. Every layer has its own characteristics and one has to see the inner layers through the negative spaces of the outer layer
