Painters have their own ideas and priority which they carry more than anything else. It could be a dream that has a direct relevance to the world around them or something more tangible.I had the chance to see the recent works of Mrs Chandana Bhattacharjee. She is moulded by the associations of various factors she encountered in life,family environment,society and of course human around -she interacts with.She is been constantly been stimulated by these and forcefully expresses her reaction on canvass in terms of life and colours. She has participated many solo and Grp. Shows, 2018 “Peace in Nature†Triveni Art Gallery, New Delhi; 2016 she has participated in Senior Artist National Lalit kala Delhi and AIFACS Painting Camp, Delhi in 2018. She was Awards for best artists for painting competition organised by Rotary Club, Lucknow, “Make in India in 2018†for brilliance in the field of Creative Arts by Bharat Nirman and All India Camlin Contest Scholarships in BFA.Practiced as Freelance Artist 1996 to 2003 at Rastriya Lalit Kala Kendra, Aliganj, Lucknow and State Lalit Kala Kendra. Her works in collection with Lalbardary, Lucknow, Army Officers Mess in Lucknow, St. Anthony’s college, Lucknow, Kraft House, Lucknow & amp; Krishna Art Gallery, Lucknow and various Galleries in Delhi and Private collections in USA, Britain, Germany, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland and Canada. Chandana lives and paints in New Delhi.
