Dharmendra is from Bhabru near Jaipur, India. He is a master tooling texture on stone with over 15 years of experience, he started his career at a flour mill gringing grains. Inpration struck while making flour to create designs on the stone base of his flour milll. This experiement lead to an invention of his unique style and a new career in tooling texture on stone.
After an initial struggle period Dharmendar met John Bowman, a renowned sculpture who then introduced him to Pardeep Sachdeva and Madhu Shankar. After meeting with like minded individuals who have appreciation for indigenous crafts instilled a confidence in him, and he resolves to showcase his work and share it with the world.
His work is a part of many hotel interiors and homes namely Bandhavgarh Resort in Madhya Pradesh, Sarai Hotel in New Delhi. He also holds workshops teaching his craft.
