Gayatri M, a resident of Thrissur is a self-taught artist who stands out for his niche inspiration. He has been a part of several group and solo shows. For his mesmerizing work, he has been awarded the Kerala Lalit Academy Award, Landsmen Award (Switzerland) and many more. In his works, which are greatly inspired by rural life, he has used tribal symbols and colours to reproduce folklore.
